We knew that bring you some inconvenience, wasting your valable time. At the moment, we fixed the bugs and brought a new client for download.

How to redeem your beta key:
1. After getting your Closed Beta code, head to the Chrono Tales official website here.
2. Register an account or sign in if you already have one. After you register/sign in, click on the ‘Play Now’ button to log in to Chrono Tales.
3. You’ll be prompted to enter your beta code when you enter the game. Copy & paste your code and you’re all done!

After you join a guild, you can earn Guild Contribution by planting/upgrading Crystal, destroying other players’ Crystal, fighting and improving your rankings in Survival Island, and participating in Siege War.
You can use Soul Stars or sell them to the game system, but you can’t sell them to other players.
Open the Astrology panel where you can find out all the combinations of Star Fortune. Choose the proper one and then you can activate more Star Fortune.
When you are Level 35 and reach some preconditions, you can go to Mall to buy Ultima Skill Books from which you can learn Ultima Skills.
You may collect Runes from your ripe Crystal or when you destroy other players’ Crystal.
You can find Rare Recipes for different Craft Professions from Bosses in Daily Instance.
The tax you pay will go to the guild who won the Siege War and currently controls the Chroland Capital.
There will be a message shown in the upper side of your screen when Survival Island opens. You can get into Survival Island directly by clicking [Go Now] or you can enter there through portals located near Rebirth Point in each town. During the event time, you can also find entrance to Survival Island in the panel of recommended events.
You can press [ESC], or click the [System] button located in the bottom right of your screen to open the Settings panel. And then choose [Best Effect] in the System Settings.
You can find a button on the top left corner above the mini map. Click it and then you can get out of a frozen screen.
Survival Island consists of 13 floating islands. You can shuttle among these islands and attack others freely. However, if you were killed, you will be teleported out of the islands. The final player staying on the islands will be the winner of the event.
As the event goes on, islands will be closed one by one, so there is no way to avoid fighting for the whole time. Every participant will get rewarded and there will be extra excellent prizes for the top 3 players. In order to win, you need effective tactics and even some luck besides strength.
Available at Level 20

1. After Survival Island opens, every eligible player will be given 10 minutes to prepare for the event. There will be a notification displayed on the screen every 30 seconds. You can click [Go Now] to enter Survival Island directly.
2. After the event begins, you can find portals near Rebirth Points in every town, through which you can get to Survival Island too.
3. During the 10-minute preparation, you can also find the Survival Island event in [Recommened Event]. Choose the event and click [Enter] to participate in this event.
Try your best to survive in the islands. Because if you were killed in Survival Island, you lose the competition. Once you are killed, you can choose to stay and watch the competition or leave the island.
The last one who remains on the islands will be the final winner.
No. 1: Courage Badge x10 + 10 Gold
No. 2: Courage Badge x5 + 5 Gold
No. 3: Courage Badge x3 + 3 Gold
In addition, every time you kill an opponent, you will receive 1 Courage Badge Shard and 5 Silver.
Players who stay in the islands will gain extra Exp every 20 seconds.
Rewards will be delivered by system after the event ends.
There are some plants in the game where you can grow Crystal. When the Crystal becomes mature, it will bear Gold, Exp Apples and Superior Crystal Amulets. Guilds can even upgrade those plants and take control of them. It is also allowed to destroy other players’ Crystal. If you don’t collect your mature crystal in time, it might get stolen by others.
Available at Level 25.
1. Crystal Plants:
Press “Z” on your keyboard to view the distribution of all crystal plants. You may find different icons on different crystal plants which represent plants’ status: 
means blank plants; 
means growing plants; and 
means your own plants.
2. Grow Crystal:
When you find a blank plant, you can click on its base to grow Crystal seed. There are 7 different types of Crystal seeds, including Red Crystal 
, Green Crystal 
, Yellow Crystal 
, Blue Crystal 
, Purple Crystal 
, Orange Crystal 
and Crystal Cluster 
. Different Crystal will generate different revenue. Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Purple, and Orange Crystal seeds are sold in Mall and Guild Shops while Crystal Clusters can be bought from from the grocers in towns.
3. Crystal Plant:
Guilds can occupy blank Crystal plants by spending some Guild Contribution. After occupying and growing Crystal on them, the owner guilds can have several extra harvests from these plants (only members of the owner’s guild can collect from these Crystal plants). If it is a growing plant, you have to destroy the Crystal first.
4. Growth of Crystal:
After Crystal is grown, it will absorb nearby energy and become mature. The more advanced the planted Crystal is, the longer it will take to become mature. During the growth, the Crystal may suffer attacks from other players, which means some protection is needed. If the Crystal is destroyed, you’ll lose all the revenue while the destroyer may get Runes, Exp Apples and money which may be dropped from the destroyed Crystal.
5. Collect Crystal:
Crystal will be protected for a period of time after it gets mature. If you don’t collect all the crystal within the protection time, other players will be allowed to collect it from your plant. If a Crystal plant is occupied by a guild, then its members can gain extra collect times from that Crystal plant.
6. Revenue:
After Crystal become mature, it will bear Gold, Exp Apples, and No.1 – No.33 Runes. Different types of Crystal will bear different revenue.
Only guilds can participate in Siege War, where the defensive side and offensive side will compete for the rulership of the Chroland Capital. 30 guilds at most are allowed to compete in one Siege War and the final winning guild will be the Castellan Guild of the Chroland Capital, and the guild will be granted the right to tax the whole of Chroland.
1. Only guilds with more than 10 Level 20+ members are eligible for Siege War.
2. Only guild leaders can sign up for Siege War. When signing up for the event, the guild leader should carry a Warhorn which can be bought from the Mall.
3. 30 guilds at most (including defensive side and offensive side) can sign up for one Siege War.
Siege War will take place at 21:00 on every Saturday and last for one and a half hours. Guild leaders can sign up for the war during the first half hour before 21:00.
There will be a message notifying guild leaders to sign up for the event one hour before Siege War begins. When sign-up is available, guild leaders can visit Rex (the Chroland Capital Castellan) with a Warhorn to begin the challenge. Warhorns 
are sold in Mall.
1. There will be a portal appearing on your screen 5 minutes before Siege War begins. You can follow the instruction to enter the battlefield to prepare for the war.
2. When the preparation time ends, both the defensive side and offensive side will be sent to their default Rebirth Points. There is a Chroland Flag representing the defensive side in the center of the battlefield. If the offensive side cut down that flag during Siege War, then they win. Otherwise, the defensive side wins Siege War.
3. During Siege War, every player can gain points for their guilds by killing members of the other side (The offensive side can also gain points by damaging the flag.). After Siege War ends, the guild which has the highest score among all the winning guilds will be the new Castellan Guild of the Chroland Capital.
4. Every player can rebirth for up to 10 times during Siege War. When the chances are used up, you are not allowed to carry on with the Siege War.
Every time you kill a member of the opponent side, you will gain Guild Contribution and Guild Exp. There will be score recording individual achievement too. When you kill an opponent, you will gain 100 individual points. After Siege War ends, players whose score is higher than 500 will receive extra rewards of money and premium items.

What’s more, the Castellan Guild of the Chroland Capital will be granted the right to tax the whole Chroland.
Players have to pay tax when they are selling or buying items from shops in each town. All the tax revenue will be distributed, via emails sent on each Saturday, to members of the Castellan Guild, based on their contribution. Members who join that guild less than one week are not included.
In Chrono Tales, every player can obtain a zodiac and then use the astrology function to obtain Soul Stars with different attributes, which will activate different types of Star Fortunes. When Soul Star gets stronger enough, it will arouse the Zodiac Vigor unique to each zodiac.
Available at Level 12.
1. Obtain a zodiac: Press “R” on your keyboard or click the Astrology icon at the bottom of your screen to open the zodiac panel. Click “Obtain” to get a zodiac. If you are not satisfied with the zodiac you get, you can click “Change Zodiac” to get a new one.
2. Begin Astrology: After obtaining a zodiac, click “Go to Astrology” to open the Astrology panel where you can click the Crystal Ball I on the lower right to begin astrology or click the “Activate” button to activate Crystal Ball IV to obtain Soul Stars.
3. Types of Soul Stars: Soul Stars are divided into 5 qualities: White, Green, Blue, Golden and Orange (from basic to best). The better the Crystal Ball you use, the better Soul Star you may get. White Soul Stars can only be sold while other colors of Soul Stars can be equipped into Soul Star sockets.
4. Equip Soul Star: Right click on the Soul Star to equip it. Once a Soul Star is equipped, its attributes will be added to your character. You can spend some coins to unlock more Soul Star sockets.
5. Activate Star Fortune: Some combinations of Soul Stars may activate Star Fortune. Each character can have three pieces of Star Fortune at most. You can click “Check all Soul Star Combinations” at the left corner of the Astrology panel to check all the combinations for Star Fortune.
6. Activate Zodiac Vigor: When four orange Soul Stars are equipped, you can activate the Zodiac Vigor of your character. Higher-level Soul Stars will generate better effects.
You can obtain a random constellation from the 12 zodiacs. Each zodiac has its own different attributes. You can become stronger if you get a zodiac that matches your development direction.
Players can have up to four Soul Stars at the same time and each Soul Star will add one attribute. The better and the higher level the Soul Star is, the more attribute bonus it can offer. Improve Level of Soul Star: Soul Stars can devour each other to improve level. Improve Quality of Soul Star: Click the first Crystal Ball, and you will have a chance to activate the next level of Crystal Ball. A higher level Crystal Ball is more possible to generate a high quality Soul Star.
Astrolabes can be activated by any two Soul Stars. Different Astrolabes have different attributes.
Certain combinations of Soul Stars can activate Star Fortune. Each player can have 3 pieces of Star Fortune at most. You can change your Soul Stars anytime to get new Star Fortune.
Four orange Soul Stars can activate the Zodiac Vigor, which will bring great attributes bonus to your character.
Every class has three types of combat skills: active skills, passive skills and supportive skills. Only when skills are used tactically, can they have the most power.
Ultima Skill
When you get to Level 35, you can buy Ultima Skill Books to learn those Ultima Skills recorded. There is no class limitation for all Ultima Skills as long as characters’ attributes reach the requirement.
Reckless Stance: Reflects damage equal to 50% of your dodge when being attacked every time, but your dodge and HP will be decreased by 35% for 20 sec. This ultima skill can only be learnt and used when your luck and stamina reach 250 and 200 respectively.
Fiery Dragon: Summons a dragon which will keep spitting fire to an area, dealing 120% damage. The target will be burnt for 3 seconds. This ultima skill can only be learnt and used when both your strength and intelligence reach 250 respectively.
Bolt Strike: Raises your attack speed by 50% for 25 sec. This ultima skill can only be learnt and used when your agility reaches 500.
Brutal Assault: Raises your Crit by 1000 and when your critical strike hits a unit, it will lower that unit’s Crit by 2000. The effect will last for 30 seconds. This ultima skill can only be learnt and used when your strength and agility reach 300 and 200 respectively.
Polymorph Chicken: Turns the target into a chicken, which makes the target unable to use skills for 10 seconds. When being attacked, the chicken will reflect 15% damage. This ultima skill can only be learnt and used when your luck reaches 400. (The skill is nullified when the target is flying)
Improve equipment’s attributes. Equipment can be refined for up to Level 15.
Upgrade equipment’s quality. White equipment can even be upgraded to orange equipment.
Upgrade equipment’s required level and attributes. Every upgrade will raise the equipment’s required level by 10.
Make sockets on equipment for embedding gems. One piece of equipment can have up to 6 sockets.
Embed gems into equipment. One socket can only be embedded with one gem.
Click the “Forge” button at the bottom of the screen or press “H” on your keyboard to open the Forge panel. Choose the equipment or pet you want to forge as well as the type and then click “Start” to forge.
After you open the Forge penal, click the “Auto” button on the bottom right and then drag the slider to set your goal. Lastly, click “Auto-forge” to start.
